What a Community Comprehensive Support Centre does

A Community Comprehensive Support Centre is a public consultation desk commissioned by Kawasaki City. There are 49 of them, each covering specific towns, and using one costs nothing.

The first place to ask about care

A Community Comprehensive Support Centre (地域包括支援センター) is a public consultation desk commissioned by Kawasaki City. It handles welfare, medical and long-term care questions for older residents, free of charge. There are 49 across the city.

Your centre is decided by your address

Centres work on a district basis. You cannot pick any centre you like — your town determines which one serves you, and some towns are split between two centres by chome (block number).

Consultation is free, and you do not need a care certification to come in. It is fine to visit while you are only beginning to worry about someone.
